Our story

10 000 km and 14 hours away.

We met, we fell in love, and then life put THE ENTIRE EARTH between us. Anna in Tokyo, Cyprien in Québec. Fourteen hours apart... when one was going to bed, the other was starting their day.

We tried everything. Good-morning texts that landed at midnight. Calls that turned into "so… what did you do today?" on repeat, every social medias or apps. It kept us in touch, but it didn't keep us close.

What actually worked was doing things. Cooking the same recipe on opposite sides of the world. Sending a photo of a creation we made. Tiny shared moments that felt like our history isn't paused.

So we built the app we needed. UNEAR is that ritual one small challenge a day, lived by everyone in your group, kept forever in a journal that belongs only to you.

UNEAR is an app that turns distance into shared experiences. Every day, you and your group take on a common challenge and keep a trace of it with a photo in a shared journal.

UNEAR was born from a long-distance relationship between Tokyo and Québec, 14 hours apart. The app was built for one real need: to keep living things together, even when you're far away.

It's a small action to complete in real life, the same one for your whole group. Once it's done, everyone shares their proof with a photo in the shared journal.

Getting started & account
Download UNEAR on the App Store or Google Play, create your account in seconds, and invite your people.
From the app, you generate an invite to share. They join your group in one tap.
You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
Distance & usage
Yes — that's exactly why it exists. Everyone takes on the challenge whenever it suits them: you don't need to be online at the same time.
Yes, UNEAR works internationally.
UNEAR is available in French and English for now.
Pricing, Premium & Energy
Yes, UNEAR is free to download and use. A Premium plan and Energy packs are available if you want to go further.
Energy is UNEAR's in-app currency. It lets you unlock certain actions in the app, like extending or skipping a challenge.
You can earn it naturally by using the app, by watching a short ad, or by receiving it from a loved one.
Premium is 9,99 €/month before tax. It includes 100 Energy on activation, access to community challenges, the ability to suggest your own challenges, and rewards for popular challenges. It's billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Taxes vary by country, so the final amount charged is the tax-inclusive price shown by the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.

Yes. Premium has no commitment and can be cancelled whenever you want.

Only the members of your private group. Nothing is public on UNEAR.
